Globo Group is the largest media company in Latin America and one of the largest television networks in the world. With over 100 affiliates in Brazil and activities across the globe, Globo also owns the most accessed news and sports websites by Brazilians, G1 and GloboEsporte.com.
For over five years, I worked in Sorocaba, Sao Paulo at TV TEM, a Globo affiliate that covers half of the state of Sao Paulo, and also at Globo Sao Paulo at certain periods. I also produced reports in Miami and Rio de Janeiro.
I started in 2012 in the production of the local newscast in the Sorocaba region. That same year, I was promoted to web reporter at G1 and GloboEsporte.com, and in 2015, to web editor at GloboEsporte.com.
I also participated in relevant Branded Content and SEO projects in partnership with the Marketing, Commercial, and Product teams at Globo and TV TEM.
Activities:
One of the highlights during the time I worked at GloboEsporte.com was the on-the-spot coverage of the 2014 World Cup, accredited by FIFA.
At G1, I regularly participated in hard news coverage, where I further developed my fact-checking abilities and agility in content publishing.
